I am currently practicing comics. I'm using Invader Zim for two reasons, 1. The characters, anatomy wise and size wise are TINY and super easy to draw. It literally takes seconds, compared to the ages that I spend on normal characters. And 2. The expressions and poses are SUPER easy to do with them. I still haven't got expressions down entirely in my own style. I'm hoping this practice will help me get better at comics, expressions, poses, and SPEEDINESS. Plus, I keep having ideas for stupid little Invader Zim plots. They're pathetic, samely, the sort of crap you'd see on the show but stupider, and I love it. It's really fun to do. And it's not really supposed to be amazing ground breaking plots or humour, just a little mindless fan indulgence I suppose. I do plan on doing IZ porn comics, but right now I'm just doing clean stuff, since it's easier, and I have plots worked out. It's hard to write porn about characters that just WOULD NOT do something like that, I can't seem to get them in character in porn, I'm going to keep trying though.


This is obviously just the sketch though. If I ever decide to finish them, the lines would be cleaner, and I'd add better speech bubbles. The font would probably be Invader, the Invader Zim font itself, and the frames will stay the messy way they are because I think it fits the darker theme of the show. The best part about this being that it only took me about half an hour to do that entire thing. Maybe less! I'm hoping I can do another page tomorrow.
